It’s a dense, academic-looking document, likely a chapter from a legal or historical study. The layout is quite formal and traditional, with a lot of text and a prominent, stylized illustration.\n\n**Textual Content (Dominant Feature):**\n\n* **Title:** “Zamanla canlı islam hukukunu anlariyisi” – “Stories of Living Islamic Law” (in Turkish).\n* **Subtitle:** “Necmiddin Bammât’ın Mekan Anlayışı” – “Necmiddin Bammât’s Understanding of Space.”\n* **Author:** “Çev: Yrd.Doç.Dr. Sadık Kılıç” – “Translation: Prof. Dr. Sadık Kılıç” (indicating the text is a translation).\n* **Date:** “8 Aralık 1922-1985” –  The author’s birth and death dates.\n* **Introduction:** The text begins with a preamble: “Dahili, ama gökyüzüne açık bir mekan olan ilk cami anlayışıydı. It was an idea of Karkasa. His father, the former head of the Karkasa Republic, Haydar Bammât…”\n* **Main Text:** The bulk of the page is filled with dense, lengthy text in Turkish. It appears to be a scholarly analysis of Necmiddin Bammât’s (a historical figure) understanding of space and the mosque, specifically within the context of Mekka (Mecca). The text discusses his legal background, his studies at various universities (including Sorbonne, Rome, and Paris), his involvement in organizations like UNESCO, and his work on Islamic law. It references specific legal cases and scholars.  The text is broken up into paragraphs and sections, with headings and subheadings.\n* **Small Text at Bottom:**  “Paris Üniversitesi hukuk bölümünde, sonra da Sorbon Üniversitesi’nde ders verdi. 1967’den 1976’dan itibaren Köln Konferansı’nda teşkilatçı, 1987’de Paris Müzeal Müzeheseni Beynelmilel Komisyonunda çalışmıştır. 1988’de Paris te College of France’da çalışmalarını sürdürdü. Necmiddin Bammât, 1998’de Afganistan delegesiyle UNESCO bünyesinde olmuştur. O, 1976’dan görevlerde bulunduktan sonra, T.T. ni 1987’de takdimi öncesi, 1987’de Roma Hukuku Konferansı dersleri vermek üzere üniversitede ders verdi.” –  A summary of Bammât’s career and achievements.\n\n**Illustration:**\n\n* **Central Image:** A stylized, somewhat abstract illustration dominates the center of the page. It depicts a mosque with a distinctive, almost geometric design. The mosque is set against a backdrop of a stylized, swirling sky.\n* **Color Palette:** The illustration uses a limited color palette – primarily blues, greens, and browns. The mosque itself is rendered in shades of blue and green, while the sky is a mix of blues and browns.\n* **Style:** The illustration has a somewhat vintage or academic feel, reminiscent of early 20th-century book illustrations.\n\n**Layout & Design:**\n\n* **Formal Layout:** The page is laid out in a very formal and structured manner, typical of academic publications.\n* **Margins:** There are generous margins around the text and illustration.\n* **Font:** The text uses a serif font (likely Times New Roman or a similar classic font), which contributes to the formal and scholarly appearance.\n* **Headings & Subheadings:** The text is divided into sections with clear headings and subheadings, making it easier to follow the argument.\n\n**Colors:**\n\n* **Dominant Colors:** Blues, greens, and browns.\n* **Text Color:** Dark brown or black.\n* **Illustration Colors:** Shades of blue, green, and brown.\n\n**Other Notable Visual Information:**\n\n* **Paper Quality:** The paper appears to be of a high quality, suggesting a book intended for serious study.\n* **Age:** The image has a slightly aged or vintage look, possibly due to the paper and the style of the illustration.\n\n**In summary, this image is a page from a scholarly book exploring the understanding of space and the mosque through the lens of a historical figure, Necmiddin Bammât. The page is characterized by its formal layout, dense text, and a stylized illustration that reflects the academic nature of the subject matter.**\n\nDo you want me to focus on a specific aspect of the image, such as the illustration, the text, or the overall design?]\n[If you need a closer look, use vision_analyze with image_url: /DATA/.hermes/cache/images/img_f18a0e30c98e.jpg ~]\n\nLies das bitte und fasse es zusammen", "timestamp": "2026-05-25T17:22:52.748660"}

If it is unset, use `~/Documents/Obsidian Vault`.\\n\\nFile tools do not expand shell variables. Do not pass paths containing `$OBSIDIAN_VAULT_PATH` to `read_file`, `write_file`, `patch`, or `search_files`; resolve the vault path first and pass a concrete absolute path. Vault paths may contain spaces, which is another reason to prefer file tools over shell commands.\\n\\nIf the vault path is unknown, `terminal` is acceptable for resolving `OBSIDIAN_VAULT_PATH` or checking whether the fallback path exists. Once the path is known, switch back to file tools.\\n\\n## Read a note\\n\\nUse `read_file` with the resolved absolute path to the note. Prefer this over `cat` because it provides line numbers and pagination.\\n\\n## List notes\\n\\nUse `search_files` with `target: \\\"files\\\"` and the resolved vault path. Prefer this over `find` or `ls`.\\n\\n- To list all markdown notes, use `pattern: \\\"*.md\\\"` under the vault path.\\n- To list a subfolder, search under that subfolder's absolute path.\\n\\n## Search\\n\\nUse `search_files` for both filename and content searches. Prefer this over `grep`, `find`, or `ls`.\\n\\n- For filenames, use `search_files` with `target: \\\"files\\\"` and a filename `pattern`.\\n- For note contents, use `search_files` with `target: \\\"content\\\"`, the content regex as `pattern`, and `file_glob: \\\"*.md\\\"` when you want to restrict matches to markdown notes.\\n\\n## Create a note\\n\\nUse `write_file` with the resolved absolute path and the full markdown content. Prefer this over shell heredocs or `echo` because it avoids shell quoting issues and returns structured results.\\n\\n## Append to a note\\n\\nPrefer a native file-tool workflow when it is not awkward:\\n\\n- Read the target note with `read_file`.\\n- Use `patch` for an anchored append when there is stable context, such as adding a section after an existing heading or appending before a known trailing block.\\n- Use `write_file` when rewriting the whole note is clearer than constructing a fragile patch.\\n\\nFor an anchored append with `patch`, replace the anchor with the anchor plus the new content.\\n\\nFor a simple append with no stable context, `terminal` is acceptable if it is the clearest safe option.\\n\\n## Targeted edits\\n\\nUse `patch` for focused note changes when the current content gives you stable context. Prefer this over shell text rewriting.\\n\\n## Wikilinks\\n\\nObsidian links notes with `[[Note Name]]` syntax. LiveSync (Sync-Server) 🏆 Empfohlen\n\nDu hostest deinen eigenen Sync-Server — alle Geräte syncen wie bei Obsidian Sync, aber kostenlos und privat.\n\n**Technik:** CouchDB + obsidian-livesync Plugin\n**GitHub:** `vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync`\n\n**Referenz-Guides:**\n- [joshuapack.com — Self-host in 10 minutes with Docker](https://www.joshuapack.com/self-host-obsidian-sync-in-10-minutes-with-docker/)\n- [linuxhandbook.com — Obsidian Docker Self-host](https://linuxhandbook.com/obsidian-docker-self-host/)\n- [fredhii.com — LiveSync + Traefik](https://www.fredhii.com/posts/free-self-hosted-obsidian-sync-with-live-sync-and-traefik)\n- [teaching.alptugan.com — Docker Setup](https://teaching.alptugan.com/Tutorials/Obsidian---Self-hosted-LiveSync-Setup-on-Docker)\n- [dev.to — Self-hosted Sync Server](https://dev.to/lightningdev123/how-to-set-up-a-self-hosted-obsidian-sync-server-hcn)\n- [xda-developers.com — NAS Setup](https://www.xda-developers.com/made-own-obsidian-sync-server-nas-plugin/)\n\n**Vorteil:** Du nutzt weiterhin Obsidian nativ auf jedem Gerät, synct nur übers eigene Backend.\n\n---\n\n### 2. Obsidian im Browser (KasmVNC / Docker)\n\nObsidian läuft als Web-App im Browser — überall erreichbar ohne Installation.\n\n**Offizielles Kasm-Image:** `kasmweb/obsidian` auf Docker Hub\n**Alternativen:**\n- `github.com/Lanjelin/Obsidian-docker`\n- `sytone/obsidian-remote` (DeepWiki dokumentiert)\n- [blog.jinli.io — Web-based Obsidian Deployment](https://blog.jinli.io/en/p/obsidian-2-deployment-and-use-of-web-based-obsidian/)\n- [Reddit: Neuer Kasm Container für Obsidian](https://www.reddit.com/r/ObsidianMD/comments/1cs0nvi/theres_a_new_kasm_container_for_obsidian_that/)\n\n**Vorteil:** Von jedem Gerät mit Browser nutzbar. **Nachteil:** Kein nativer Client-Feel, kein Offline-Zugriff.\n\n---\n\n### 3. Static Site Generator („Self-hosted Publish\")\n\nDein Vault wird als statische Website auf dem Server deployed — wie Obsidian Publish, aber selbst gehostet.\n\n**Top-Optionen:**\n- **Quartz** (`jackyzha0/quartz`) — Beliebteste Lösung, Hugo-ähnlich, Docker-fähig\n- **Flowershow** — Next.js-basiert\n- **Perlite** — Speziell für Obsidian\n\n**Vorteil:** Öffentlich teilbar. **Nachteil:** Read-only, kein Editieren im Browser.\n\n---\n\n### 4. Alternative Sync-Methoden\n\nFalls dir CouchDB zu heavy ist:\n- **Syncthing** — P2P-Dateisync zwischen Server und Geräten\n- **Git** — Vault als Git-Repo, mit `Obsidian Git` Plugin automatisch pushen/pullen\n- **WebDAV** — Vault auf WebDAV-Freigabe, `Remotely Save` Plugin\n- **S3 / Rclone** — Cloud-Speicher als Backend\n\n---\n\n**Meine Empfehlung für dich:** Variante 1 (LiveSync) + Variante 3 (Quartz) — Sync für alle Geräte, plus eine schöne Web-Ansicht fürs Teilen.\n\nSoll ich einen der Ansätze direkt als Docker-Stack auf dem ZimaOS aufsetzen?", "reasoning": "Let me compile the research results into a comprehensive overview of options for self-hosting Obsidian on ZimaOS.\n\nFrom my searches I found:\n\n**Approach 1: Self-Hosted LiveSync (Sync Server)**\n- GitHub: https://github.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync\n- Uses CouchDB as backend\n- Multiple Docker guides:\n  - fredhii.com - Free self-hosted Obsidian sync with LiveSync and Traefik\n  - linuxhandbook.com - Obsidian Docker self-host\n  - jjoshuapack.com - Self host Obsidian sync in 10 minutes with Docker\n  - teaching.alptugan.com - Self-hosted LiveSync Setup on Docker\n  - dev.to - How to set up a self-hosted Obsidian sync server\n  - xda-developers.com - Made own Obsidian sync server NAS plugin\n  - blackvoid.club - Obsidian running sync engine via Docker\n  - pinggy.io - Self hosting Obsidian\n  - medium.com - Self-hosted Obsidian sync with Docker, CouchDB, Cloudflare Tunnel, Deno\n\n**Approach 2: Browser-based Obsidian (KasmVNC/Docker)**\n- kasmweb/obsidian on Docker Hub — official Kasm workspace\n- github.com/Lanjelin/Obsidian-docker\n- sytone/obsidian-remote\n- blog.jinli.io - Web-based Obsidian deployment\n- Reddit discussion about Kasm container for Obsidian\n\n**Approach 3: Publish alternatives**\n- Quartz (jackyzha0/quartz) - static site generator\n- I should also mention Perilous, Flowershow, etc.\n\n**Approach 4: Alternative sync methods**\n- Syncthing, WebDAV, Git-based sync\n\nLet me organize this clearly and concisely.", "finish_reason": "stop", "reasoning_content": "Let me compile the research results into a comprehensive overview of options for self-hosting Obsidian on ZimaOS.\n\nFrom my searches I found:\n\n**Approach 1: Self-Hosted LiveSync (Sync Server)**\n- GitHub: https://github.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync\n- Uses CouchDB as backend\n- Multiple Docker guides:\n  - fredhii.com - Free self-hosted Obsidian sync with LiveSync and Traefik\n  - linuxhandbook.com - Obsidian Docker self-host\n  - jjoshuapack.com - Self host Obsidian sync in 10 minutes with Docker\n  - teaching.alptugan.com - Self-hosted LiveSync Setup on Docker\n  - dev.to - How to set up a self-hosted Obsidian sync server\n  - xda-developers.com - Made own Obsidian sync server NAS plugin\n  - blackvoid.club - Obsidian running sync engine via Docker\n  - pinggy.io - Self hosting Obsidian\n  - medium.com - Self-hosted Obsidian sync with Docker, CouchDB, Cloudflare Tunnel, Deno\n\n**Approach 2: Browser-based Obsidian (KasmVNC/Docker)**\n- kasmweb/obsidian on Docker Hub — official Kasm workspace\n- github.com/Lanjelin/Obsidian-docker\n- sytone/obsidian-remote\n- blog.jinli.io - Web-based Obsidian deployment\n- Reddit discussion about Kasm container for Obsidian\n\n**Approach 3: Publish alternatives**\n- Quartz (jackyzha0/quartz) - static site generator\n- I should also mention Perilous, Flowershow, etc.\n\n**Approach 4: Alternative sync methods**\n- Syncthing, WebDAV, Git-based sync\n\nLet me organize this clearly and concisely.", "timestamp": "2026-05-25T21:02:42.361437"}

Now let’s create the config file. Create a file called config/local.ini with the following contents: [httpd] enable_cors = true WWW-Authenticate = Basic realm = "CouchDB" [cors] origins = app://obsidian.md,capacitor://localhost,http://localhost credentials = true methods = GET, PUT, POST, HEAD, DELETE headers = accept, authorization, content-type, origin, referer max_age = 3600 ; Set to 1 hour [chttpd] require_valid_user = true max_http_request_size = 4294967296 ; 4GB for large bulk imports [chttpd_auth] require_valid_user = true authentication_redirect = /_utils/session.html [couchdb] single_node = true ; Set to true for single-node setup max_document_size = 50000000 ; 50MB limit for larger attachments Run docker compose up -d, and your private sync server is officially online. 2. Configuring CouchDB CouchDB requires a bit of “tuning” to talk to the Obsidian app. You need to enable CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing). However, with the config file we just created, this is already enabled. The hard part is finished. We need to create a database. Open your browser to http://localhost:5984/_utils (the Fauxton dashboard). Log in with your credentials. At the top, click “Create Database” and name it something like “secondbrain”. (Non-partitioned is fine) 3. Networking If you are on a local network, you can use the local IP address of your server. If you are on a remote network, you will need to use the public IP address of your server. However, I am not going to cover that in this guide. We are just gonna get our local syncing working. Maybe in the future I will write a guide for remote syncing. I recommend using a VPN to your home network. This will ensure that your server is always accessible and secure without the need to use a public IP address or exposing ports to the internet. You will want to make sure you set the servers ip address as a static ip address. This will ensure that the ip address does not change. This will be dependent on your router. If you are like me and use Ubiquiti, you can find the static ip settings in the UniFi controller. Go to the UniFi controller and find the device you want to set as a static ip. Click on it and go to the “Settings” tab. Scroll down to the “IP Settings” section and click “Fixed IP Address”. This should make it stick. If for some reason you go from wifi to ethernet, or vice versa, you will need to update the fixed ip address within your router settings again. This is because it uses a different mac address depending on the network interface. 4. Setting Up the Obsidian Plugin Once you’ve installed Obsidian (it’s free!) on your main laptop/desktop, create a new empty vault, if you don’t have one. If you already have a vault, make sure to backup your data before proceeding as this could cause data loss. Head to the Community Plugins and search for Self-hosted LiveSync . Install it. Enable it. This should pop up a window to configure the plugin. Since you have not configured the plugin yet, we need to select that this is our first time setting it up. Select “First Time Setup” and click “Yes”. Select your conection method. Let’s go ahead and enter the connection details manually. We want End-to-End encryption, so select that option. Set a password. Make sure you save this password somewhere safe. Cause if you lose it, the sync will break or corrupt the data. You can ignore the other options on this page. Here is where we will setup the connection to our CouchDB server. Select CouchDB and continue. Now within the CouchDB Configuration section, fill in the details: URL: http://{your-server-ip}:5984 (Should be your local IP address and port to the CouchDB server) Credentials: Username: admin_user (Should be your CouchDB admin login) Password: admin_password (Should be your CouchDB admin password) Database Name: secondbrain (Should be the name of the database you created) Now click on “Test Settings and Continue”. It it failed, double check your settings and keep trying until you succeed. If it works, you should be on a new page to prepare to fetch and sync your data. Click “Restart and Fetch Data”. It is important that you read the warning message and understand what it means. Always make sure to backup your data before syncing, just in case something goes wrong. You should now see a reset syncronization on this device page. There will be 2 questions you will need to answer. Make sure to read everything carefully, so that you understand what is happening. Because this is the first time we are syncing, we can select “This vault is empty, or contains only new files that are not on the server.” The second question is making sure you made a backup. Make a backup now if you have not already. Select “Reset and Resume Syncronization” to continue. You will get a pop up saying “Fetch Remote Configuration Failed”. This is normal, because this is the first time we are syncing. Click on “Skip and proceed”. It is now gonna ask a bunch of questions. Read it, and most likely just hit the purple recommended option. And have the Doctor fix any issues that come up. Now, you will come to the final page to overwrite server data with your vault. Because this is the first time setting this up, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Read each checkbox and answer the questions. Once you are ready, click “I Understand, Overwrite Server”. It will then pop up some more questions. Read it, and I hit yes to everything. It will have a screen that asks about “Setting up database size notifications”. I hit the 2GB option. Now, here comes the important setting for LiveSync to really shine! Go to Settings > Self-hosted LiveSync > Sync Settings. Scroll down to “Sync Mode” and select “LiveSync”. Now it will sync your vault in real-time! 5. The Multi-Device Payoff The beauty of this setup is adding new devices. You don’t have to re-enter all those settings on your phone or laptop. In the LiveSync settings on your main machine, go to the Setup tab. Under the “To setup other devices” section you will see 2 ways you can connect to your vault on other devices. Copy the current settings to a Setup URI Show QR code I personally prefer the QR code option, but you can use the Setup URI if you prefer. Install Obsidian on your phone, open it, create a new empty vault. Make sure you don’t select the “store in iCloud” option. Go to Settings > Community Plugins and search for “Self-hosted LiveSync”. Install it. Enable it. This should pop up a window to configure the plugin. Select “I am adding a device to an existing sync synchronization setup” and click “Yes”. This is where the QR code or Setup URI option really shines. With the QR code option, Go into your laptop/desktop and open the LiveSync settings. Go to the Setup tab and select “Show QR code”. Scan that QR code with your phone. It will then pop up a window to confirm what kind of sync. Select “My remote server is already set up. I want to join this device.” and click “Proceed to the next step.” Restart and Fetch Data. Reset Syncronization on the device. Say this vault is empty, or contains only new files that are not on the server. Tell it you already have a backup Click “Reset and Resume Syncronization”. It will ask you a couple more questions. Just hit the recommended option for each. Now go into obsidian Settings > Self-hosted LiveSync > Sync Settings. Scroll down to “Sync Mode” and select “LiveSync”. Within seconds, your entire vault is mirrored on your mobile device. You can now use Obsidian on your phone and have it sync with your desktop in real-time. Create a `docker-compose.yml` file with the following added to it\\n```\\nservices:\\n couchdb:\\n image: couchdb:latest\\n container_name: couchdb-for-ols\\n user: 5984:5984\\n environment:\\n - COUCHDB_USER=<INSERT USERNAME HERE> #Please change as you like.\\n - COUCHDB_PASSWORD=<INSERT PASSWORD HERE> #Please change as you like.\\n volumes:\\n - ./couchdb-data:/opt/couchdb/data\\n - ./couchdb-etc:/opt/couchdb/etc/local.d\\n ports:\\n - 5984:5984\\n restart: unless-stopped\\n```\\n\\n#### 3. Run the Docker Compose file to boot check\\n\\n```\\ndocker compose up\\n# Or if using the old version\\ndocker-compose up\\n```\\n> [!WARNING]\\n> If your container threw an error or exited unexpectedly, please check the permission of couchdb-data, and couchdb-etc. \\n> Once CouchDB starts, these directories will be owned by uid:`5984`. Please chown it for that uid again.\\n\\n#### 4. Run the Docker Compose file in the background\\nIf all went well and didn't throw any errors, `CTRL+C` out of it, and then run this command\\n```\\ndocker compose up -d\\n# Or if using the old version\\ndocker-compose up -d\\n```\\n\\nCongrats, move on to [step 2](#2-run-couchdb-initsh-for-initialise)\\n\\n\\n### C. Install CouchDB directly\\nPlease refer to the [official document](https://docs.couchdb.org/en/stable/install/index.html). However, we do not have to configure it fully. Just the administrator needs to be configured.\\n\\n## 2. Run couchdb-init.sh for initialise\\n```\\ncurl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync/main/utils/couchdb/couchdb-init.sh | bash\\n```\\n\\nIf it results like the following:\\n```\\n-- Configuring CouchDB by REST APIs... -->\\n{\\\"ok\\\":true}\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n\\\"\\\"\\n<-- Configuring CouchDB by REST APIs Done!\\n```\\n\\nYour CouchDB has been initialised successfully. If you want this manually, please read the script.\\n\\nIf you are using Docker Compose and the above command does not work or displays `ERROR: Hostname missing`, you can try running the following command, replacing the placeholders with your own values:\\n```\\ncurl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync/main/utils/couchdb/couchdb-init.sh | hostname=http://<YOUR SERVER IP>:5984 username=<INSERT USERNAME HERE> password=<INSERT PASSWORD HERE> bash\\n```\\n\\n## 3. Expose CouchDB to the Internet\\n\\n- You can skip this instruction if you using only in intranet and only with desktop devices.\\n - For mobile devices, Obsidian requires a valid SSL certificate. Usually, it needs exposing the internet.\\n\\nWhatever solutions we can use. For simplicity, the following sample uses Cloudflare Zero Trust for testing.\\n\\n```\\ncloudflared tunnel --url http://localhost:5984\\n```\\n\\nYou will then get the following output:\\n\\n```\\n2024-02-14T10:35:25Z INF Thank you for trying Cloudflare Tunnel. Doing so, without a Cloudflare account, is a quick way to experiment and try it out. However, be aware that these account-less Tunnels have no uptime guarantee. If you intend to use Tunnels in production you should use a pre-created named tunnel by following: https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-apps\\n2024-02-14T10:35:25Z INF Requesting new quick Tunnel on trycloudflare.com...\\n2024-02-14T10:35:26Z INF +--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+\\n2024-02-14T10:35:26Z INF | Your quick Tunnel has been created! Visit it at (it may take some time to be reachable): |\\n2024-02-14T10:35:26Z INF | https://tiles-photograph-routine-groundwater.trycloudflare.com |\\n2024-02-14T10:35:26Z INF +--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+\\n :\\n :\\n :\\n```\\nNow `https://tiles-photograph-routine-groundwater.trycloudflare.com` is our server. Make it into the background once, please.\\n\\n\\n## 4. Client Setup\\n> [!TIP]\\n> Now manual configuration is not recommended for some reasons. However, if you want to do so, please use `Setup wizard`. The recommended extra configurations will be also set.\\n\\n### 1. Generate the setup URI on a desktop device or server\\n```bash\\nexport hostname=https://tiles-photograph-routine-groundwater.trycloudflare.com #Point to your vault\\nexport database=obsidiannotes #Please change as you like\\nexport passphrase=dfsapkdjaskdjasdas #Please change as you like\\nexport username=johndoe\\nexport password=abc123\\ndeno run -A https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync/main/utils/flyio/generate_setupuri.ts\\n```\\n\\n> [!TIP]\\n> What is the `passphrase`? Is it different from `uri_passphrase`?\\n> Yes, the `passphrase` we have exported now is for an End-to-End Encryption passphrase.\\n> And, `uri_passphrase` that used in the `generate_setupuri.ts` is a different one; for decrypting Set-up URI at using that.\\n> Why: I (vorotamoroz) think that the passphrase of the Setup-URI should be different from the E2EE passphrase to prevent exposure caused by operational errors or the possibility of evil in our environment. On top of that, I believe that it is desirable for the Setup-URI to be random. Setup-URI is inevitably long, so it goes through the clipboard. I think that its passphrase should not go through the same path, so it should essentially be typed manually.\\n> Hence, if we keep empty for uri_passphrase, generate_setupuri.ts generates an adjective-noun-randomnumber passphrase so that we can remember it without going through the clipboard.\\n\\nYou will then get the following output:\\n\\n```bash\\nobsidian://setuplivesync?settings=%5B%22tm2DpsOE74nJAryprZO2M93wF%2Fvg.......4b26ed33230729%22%5D\\n\\nYour passphrase of Setup-URI is: patient-haze\\nThis passphrase is never shown again, so please note it in a safe place.\\n```\\n\\nPlease keep your passphrase of Setup-URI.\\n\\n### 2. Setup Self-hosted LiveSync to Obsidian\\n[This video](https://youtu.be/7sa_I1832Xc?t=146) may help us.\\n1. Install Self-hosted LiveSync\\n2. Choose `Use the copied setup URI` from the command palette and paste the setup URI. (obsidian://setuplivesync?settings=.....).\\n3. Type the previously displayed passphrase (`patient-haze`) for setup-uri passphrase.\\n4. Answer `yes` and `Set it up...`, and finish the first dialogue with `Keep them disabled`.\\n5. `Reload app without save` once.\\n\\n---\\n\\n## Manual setup information\\n\\n### Setting up your domain\\n\\nSet the A record of your domain to point to your server, and host reverse proxy as you like. \\nNote: Mounting CouchDB on the top directory is not recommended. \\nUsing Caddy is a handy way to serve the server with SSL automatically.\\n\\nI have published [docker-compose.yml and ini files](https://github.com/vrtmrz/self-hosted-livesync-server) that launch Caddy and CouchDB at once. If you are using Traefik you can check the [Reverse Proxies](#reverse-proxies) section below.\\n\\nAnd, be sure to check the server log and be careful of malicious access.\\n\\n\\n## Reverse Proxies\\n\\n### Traefik\\n\\nIf you are using Traefik, this [docker-compose.yml](https://github.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync/blob/main/docker-compose.traefik.yml) file (also pasted below) has all the right CORS parameters set. It assumes you have an external network called `proxy`.\\n\\n```yaml\\nservices:\\n couchdb:\\n image: couchdb:latest\\n container_name: obsidian-livesync\\n user: 1000:1000\\n environment:\\n - COUCHDB_USER=username\\n - COUCHDB_PASSWORD=password\\n volumes:\\n - ./data:/opt/couchdb/data\\n - ./local.ini:/opt/couchdb/etc/local.ini\\n # Ports not needed when already passed to Traefik\\n #ports:\\n # - 5984:5984\\n restart: unless-stopped\\n networks:\\n - proxy\\n labels:\\n - \\\"traefik.enable=true\\\"\\n # The Traefik Network\\n - \\\"traefik.docker.network=proxy\\\"\\n # Don't forget to replace 'obsidian-livesync.example.org' with your own domain\\n - \\\"traefik.http.routers.obsidian-livesync.rule=Host(`obsidian-livesync.example.org`)\\\"\\n # The 'websecure' entryPoint is basically your HTTPS entrypoint. {"role": "assistant", "content": "Gute Frage. **In Obsidian:**\n - Plugin \"Self-hosted LiveSync\" installieren\n - Im Command Palette: \"Use the copied setup URI\"\n - Setup-URI einfügen + Passphrase eingeben\n - \"LiveSync\" als Sync-Mode aktivieren\n - Fertig — Echtzeit-Sync läuft\n\n3.
